An Overview of the 2023 Ford Bronco

Thanks to its legendary off-road versatility and strong performance, the Ford Bronco has earned its reputation as one of the most reliable SUVs ever made. The 2023 edition more than honors this legacy by adding a wide range of exciting upgrades while keeping many of its original features from previous years the same. Throw in a rugged yet luxurious and comfortable cabin, and there aren't too many reasons left to not take a closer look at this rugged-and-ready SUV. Engines and Versatility Among the 2023 Bronco's three impressive engine options are two V6s and a four-cylinder. Despite its small size, the 2.3-liter four-cylinder offers a surprisingly powerful 300-horsepower output. However, if you need more power, the first V6 is a 330-horsepower 2.7-liter, while the other is a 3.0-liter that produces 418 horses and comes standard with the Raptor trim. Along with its standard four-wheel drive system, this edition also offers an advanced 4x4 system that comes standard on upper trims and constantly adjusts power to the front wheels based on changes in driving conditions. This, along with the high-speed off-road suspension system (H.O.S.S.) and a multi-mode terrain management system, both of which come standard in all models, allow the vehicle to venture virtually anywhere with ease. Interior and Technology Available seating options inside the cabin include heated front seats with both 10-way power driver and 8-way power passenger controls, a 60/40 split-folding seat in four-door models and a 50/50 variation in those with two doors, and your choice of cloth, leather trim, or moisture-resistant marine-grade vinyl as seating fabrics. This edition's tech features are all impressive as well, including the SYNC 4 infotainment system, which offers both a 12-inch touchscreen and hands-free control over everything from music to navigation assistance. To keep an eye on your surroundings when driving off-road, there's an available 360-degree camera system that offers multiple angles around the vehicle. Smart Safety Systems Working to make lane changes safer, both the Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) and Lane-Keeping System found in the Bronco do so in different ways. The first system detects vehicles in your blind spots and lets you know when they're there, while the other monitors your driving behavior to both warn you and steer the vehicle back to where it should be if you start to unintentionally leave your lane. There's also the Hill Start Assist feature that improves safety on inclines by giving you more time to switch your foot between the pedals while stopped, as well as Adaptive Cruise Control, which can set the vehicle to your preferred speed while occasionally slowing or accelerating the vehicle to keep it a safe distance away from others in front of you. Off-road versatility, strong engine performance, and a luxurious interior are just some of the many impressive qualities offered by the 2023 Bronco. If it's been a while since your vehicle was inspected, consider taking it to your local Ford dealer for a checkup. Why Worry About Safety Inspections? Regular inspections help identify potential hazards that may be present in your vehicle. Worn brake pads, malfunctioning seatbelts, or damaged tires can all be on the list. 3 Electrical Problems You Should Get Fixed at Your Conway Ford Dealer

Electrical problems can stress any driver. They seem to appear out of nowhere and can often be mistaken for other issues. As your Ford dealer in Conway, SC, we can repair any problem in the electrical system. These are samples of some of the issues that we can repair. Starting Problems Starting your car requires three important components to work together. The battery provides the initial electrical charge to the starter motor, and the starter motor cranks your engine. Once the engine is running, the alternator starts to work and begins recharging your battery. A problem with any of these components will make starting difficult or impossible without a repair. A worn battery won't supply enough power for the starter motor. A damaged starter motor may receive the charge from the battery but not initiate the crank. Finally, a failing alternator might not produce enough power to recharge the battery. A lack of recharging will cause the battery to fail. Our technicians will examine the components and their connections to find and fix the problem. Stalling Problems Stalling occurs when more than one of your cylinders fails to fire correctly. Failure to fire can be caused by a failing alternator, damaged ignition coils or spark plugs, or a failed sensor. Each of these causes can make driving difficult and dangerous, as you don't know when the engine could stall again. Our technicians will need to examine the electrical system to uncover the cause of the problem. A failing alternator might not supply enough power to the spark plugs to ignite the compressed fuel-air mixture in the cylinders. Spark plugs could be worn out or damaged, or an electrical fault could interfere with their power supply. Damaged ignition coils won't generate the additional power the spark plugs need for combustion. Our Ford-trained technicians will find and repair the problem. Fuse Problems All the electrical components have fuses connected to them. These fuses ensure that their components receive a steady flow of power and protect them against surges. An electrical fault can occur due to age or damage, which sends a rogue electrical surge through the system. A fuse will absorb the incoming surge and blow out. The component is protected from damage but won't work until the fuse is replaced. Fuses can also be affected by the very slight movement they experience as you drive. Over time, a fuse could develop a minute gap between itself and the electrical system. Electricity can't flow through a gap, and the power to the component will be cut off. We can test the fuses and reseat or replace them if required. If you think your Ford has an electrical problem, call us ASAP at Conway Ford.
