Sometimes nothing will satisfy your cravings like really great barbecue. In Conway, South Carolina, we have some really great barbecue spots that you can rely on when that craving hits. After a long day of work in your reliable Ford F250, head to one of these spots for the best barbecue in our area.

CW’s Wings and Ribs

You’ll find this spot at 117 Rivertown Blvd, and they are open from 11 AM until 9 PM on Sunday and from Tuesday through Thursday and until 10 PM on Friday and Saturday. They are closed on Monday. This is a great spot for reasonable prices, delicious barbecue, and nice service. They also have plenty of non-barbecue offerings, so this is a good spot to bring the family if you have kids who don’t appreciate barbecue.

We’d recommend that you start out with their loaded nachos or the delicious mac & cheese bites. Their barbecue basket is slow-cooked, pulled pork covered in barbecue sauce. They also do great wings, and you can order a full rack of pork ribs that is slow-cooked until it falls off the bone. Get it with one of their great sauces: Carolina rub, Kentucky bourbon, Doc’s barbecue, classic barbecue, and lots more.

Radd Dew’s Bar-B-Que Pit

For a really traditional Carolina barbecue experience, you have to visit the spot at 851 Horry Rd. in nearby Aynor, South Carolina. They are only open on Friday Saturday and Sunday. On Friday and Saturday, they are open between 4 PM and 9 PM. On Sunday, they open from 11 AM until 3 PM.

Get there for the amazing all-you-can-eat southern barbecue buffet. What’s on it? Chopped vinegar barbecue pork, chicken bog, fried chicken, fried shrimp, tomato barbecue pork, broccoli casserole, hash and rice, mac & cheese, coleslaw, fried shrimp, lima beans, and lots more. Or, get their barbecued pork sandwich or take home chopped barbecue by the pint. If you don’t want to eat there, you can get their to-go plates which include two servings of meat and three sides with hush puppies or a biscuit.

Bonfire Taqueria

A lot of people see this as the very best barbecue in the city, and there’s no doubt that it’s very good. You’ll find this Gastro pub at 951 2nd Avenue here in Conway, and they are open from 11 AM until 9 PM from Tuesday through Sunday. They have some great beer on tap, and if you enjoy some, please do so responsibly and never drink and drive.

Be sure to find out what their regular specials are so you can visit on your favorite day. On Wednesday, they serve cheese and pork stuffed poblano peppers. They also have great brunch specials on Saturday and Sunday. One of our favorites is the cowboy casserole, which is smoked chicken with bacon, sausage, poblanos, tater tots, and a lot more. But of course, you can just get their amazing meats which are all dry-rubbed in the St. Louis style and smoked over oak and hickory.
