The historic and quaint city of Conway, SC, is one of the most picturesque places in the state. From a stunning waterfront to farms where you can step back in time, there’s no shortage of fabulous photo spots in and around Conway. 1. Conway Riverwalk

2. L.W. Paul Living History Farm

Visit L.W. Paul Living History Farm at 2279 Harris Short Cut Rd. for an authentic peek into pastoral South Carolina. Enjoy substantial green fields with plenty of wildflowers, historic structures, and a robust general store with all the homemade goodies you could ever want. There are also plenty of farm animals, antique machinery and farming tools, and tons of paths to explore.

There’s no shortage of places to take pictures at L.W. Paul Living History Farm, including of animals grazing in the vast fields, historic buildings, and the greenery along some of the farm’s winding trails.

3. Waccamaw River Park

Waccamaw River Park, at 1050 Depot Rd., is an excellent place to unplug and grab some fantastic photos in Conway. This park is teeming with wildlife, tons of different greenery and plants, and plenty of trails perfect for any need or athletic abilities. It’s also very close to the downtown core, so you don’t have to drive far. Bring your dog and head out for an afternoon of hiking and photo-snapping.

4. Thompson Farm and Nursery

Thompson Farm and Nursery, at 1625 Bucksville Dr., is a family friendly place to visit that also happens to have some of the best scenery in the city. Snap photos of apple orchards, friendly animals, and gorgeous farm buildings that look trapped in time. This is a great pick if you’re looking for an excellent spot to get rural, bucolic photos. You can also enjoy the corn maze afterward.
