Hauling Capacity

Regardless of the 2021 F-250 you choose, you can haul up to 3,000 pounds. However, if you opt for a Regular Cab model configured with a “Long Box” rear bed, you can haul up to 4,260 pounds.

This impressive payload capacity is thanks to the three motors you can choose from. This pickup truck comes standard with a 6.2L V8 gas-powered engine paired with a six-speed transmission. However, for the most power and fuel efficiency, you’ll want the 6.7L Power Stroke diesel V8. You can also opt for the 7.3L V8 gas-powered engine paired with a 10-speed transmission if you miss the 7.3L Power Stroke diesel V8 from the 90s.

Towing Capacity

Our second favorite feature of the 2021 F-250 is its impressive towing capacity. If you opt for a Crew Cab configuration and Diesel V8 engine you can tow up to 20,000 pounds. You can tow approximately 15,000 pounds if you choose one of the other two motors and a 4WD drivetrain. If you get a Regular Cab Super Duty with a gooseneck hitch and 4WD 6.7L diesel V8, your towing capacity caps out at 21,800 pounds.

Impressive Tech

The 2021 F-250’s infotainment system is Incredibly easy to use thanks to the Sync 3 interface. With smartphone integration and voice recognition, you can make phone calls, receive text messages, and navigate around traffic without taking your hands off the wheel.

Those truck’s integrated tech also makes driving safer. For instance, towing is a lot safer thanks to the Lane Departure Warning for both the truck and trailer. Additionally, towing is safer thanks to the blind spot monitor that includes trailer coverage. Also, the risk of front-end collisions is mitigated thanks to the forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking.

Fun, Comfortable Drive

Other than a very brief period of lag that occurs before the truck gets going, this massive pickup truck’s acceleration is strong. Also, between the transmission shifting through gears seamlessly and the superior suspension system, this truck drives smoothly. However, to get a true appreciation of this vehicle, you need to take it for a test drive and see for yourself what it is capable of.

If you foresee jobs that are too tough for an F-150, the 2021 F-250 Super Duty might be right for you. You can’t go wrong with any of the three engine options, and there is nothing you won’t be able to haul or tow.
