Camping sites in Conway SC

No matter where you’re camping in Conway, there’s sure to be an ideal place nearby. So many options, in fact, that it is often easy to get stuck trying to figure out which one will be best. Hopefully, this article will make the selection a little easier. We’ll share three of our favorite sites within driving distance of Conway, SC.

Laurel Oaks

Laurel Oaks is a one-of-a-kind getaway that offers a unique glamping experience for guests. The resort is located on a private lake, and guests can rent out their own campsite, cabin, or yurt.

Even though this is one of the closest campgrounds from Conway, it’s still very secluded and quiet. The campground has plenty of activities for kids and adults alike, including hiking trails, fishing, canoeing, and kayaking. If you’re looking for something to do after dark, there are outdoor movie nights as well as live music performances every Saturday night through October 21st at 7 p.m.

Ocean Lakes Family Campground

Ocean Lakes Family Campground is a beautiful campground with a lot to offer. This is a great spot for families of all ages and sizes. There are so many activities for you to enjoy at Ocean Lakes, including mini golf, swimming pools, fishing ponds, playgrounds, basketball courts, and more.

It has over 600 acres of land with over 2200 campsites available, so you can find one that fits your needs perfectly. When you come to Ocean Lakes Family Campground, you will be able to relax and enjoy yourself while being surrounded by nature in its most beautiful form!

Apache Family Campground

This is a great place to go if you want to get away from it all. It’s a large campground with many sites for tents, trailers, and even cabins. The campground is located near the lake and has boat ramps for fishing, swimming, and boating. There are also several hiking trails nearby if you want to explore the woods on foot.

There are plenty of other activities available here, such as mini golf, swimming pools, and playgrounds for children. The campsites include electricity hookups and water hookups, but no sewer hookup is available, so you’ll need to use a portable toilet instead of an RV toilet when staying here.

As you can see, there are numerous spots within a close driving distance from Conway. Pack your gear in your stylish Ford Ranger and explore some of these campgrounds in the region: some so unique that you won’t find them anywhere else in South Carolina.
