2023 Ford Escape

You can choose from seven trim levels on the 2023 Ford Escape: Base, Active, ST-Line, ST-Line Select, ST-Line Elite, Platinum, and a plug-in hybrid model. Depending on the selected trim level, you'll rock 17-, 18-, or 19-inch wheels in steel or aluminum, and you'll be able to choose from eight different exterior paint colors. Standard exterior features include LED signature lighting and dual chrome exhaust tips, while upgraded options include a power liftgate, a panoramic vista roof, roof rack side rails and crossbars, heated side view mirrors, and rain-sensing windshield wipers.

No matter what your power needs are, the 2023 Ford Escape can satisfy them. The Escape comes with your choice of three engines and four powertrains. The lightweight 1.5-liter turbocharged EcoBoost engine features auto start/stop technology that helps it achieve an impressive 30 combined mpg. The ST-Line Select, ST-Line Elite, and Platinum trims upgrade the engine to a 2.0-liter turbocharged EcoBoost engine, which outputs 250 horsepower.

The hybrid powertrains come with a 2.5-liter inline-four engine that, combined with two electric motors, achieves 210 horsepower. The hybrid engine leverages regenerative braking to recharge the motors, and there's also a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) option that can be recharged using a standard 120-volt outlet. The PHEV can travel up to 44 mpg in the city and is the most fuel-efficient option.

The 2023 Ford Escape is a smooth-handling and fun-to-drive SUV, whether you're commuting to work, running errands around town, or ferrying your family to your favorite weekend destination. All 2023 Ford Escape SUVs come with front-wheel or all-wheel drive configuration options. Plus, you can customize your Escape's handling and responsiveness with four different intelligent drive mode options. Choose from the fuel-saving Eco, performance-enhanced Sport, stabilizing Slippery, or Normal modes to achieve the driving style you need.

Despite its small SUV status, you won't feel cramped in the 2023 Ford Escape. With ample legroom in the front and rear and an impressive 65.4 cubic feet of cargo space, the 2023 Escape is designed to provide you with the room you need. You'll also enjoy numerous standard interior features, including an 8-inch LCD capacitive touchscreen with SYNC 4, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot.

Upgraded trims and available comfort and convenience options include dual-zone automatic temperature control, built-in navigation, vinyl or leather-trimmed power and heated seats, and a heated steering wheel. For tech and entertainment upgrades, you can enjoy a massive 13.2-inch LCD capacitive touchscreen, a Bang & Olufsen premium sound system, and a wireless charging pad.

Advancements in driving technology have significantly improved vehicle safety. Ford's advanced Co-Pilot360 technology helps you maintain your focus on driving and enhance your awareness of your surroundings. The 2023 Ford Escape comes standard with Co-Pilot360 features such as pre-collision assist with automatic emergency braking, a lane-keeping system, and a blind spot information system with cross-traffic alert. Intelligent adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, lane centering, speed sign recognition, rear parking sensors, and Active Park Assist 2.0 are also available.
