2020 Ford Fusion

The entry-level Fusion S comes with 16-inch wheels, LED taillights, halogen headlights, and it has a capless fuel filler. The SE adds 17-inch alloy wheels, keypad entry, and some added technology, and the SEL upgrades to 18-inch alloy wheels. The top-level Titanium trim comes with 19-inch alloy wheels, and it adds dual exhaust tips and fog lights. A moonroof is an available option for any trim.

Power for the S trim comes from a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that delivers 175 horsepower and works with a six-speed automatic transmission. Both the SE and the SEL have a 1.5-liter turbo four-cylinder engine that generates 181 horsepower, and the Titanium gets a 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder with 245 horsepower. The Titanium also gets paddle shifters to go with the six-speed automatic transmission.

The 2020 Fusion is a fun car to drive. Choose the 1.5-liter turbo to get the best fuel economy or the 2.0-liter for peppier acceleration and the option for all-wheel drive. The Fusion offers a smooth drive with agile handling. Strong brakes give the driver confidence, and this sedan feels firmly connected to the road even when driving on curvy roads.

There is room for five people to sit in the Fusion with supportive seats in both rows. The cabin has a nice, upscale feel with high-quality materials and convenience features such as dual-zone automatic climate control and a standard power-adjustable driver's seat starting in the SE. The Titanium is well-equipped with heated and ventilated front seats, driver's seat memory settings, a heated steering wheel, and power-adjustment for the front passenger seat. Step up to the SE for technology features such as an 8-inch touch screen, navigation, satellite radio, and the option for the Sync 3 infotainment system. Features such as Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a Wi-Fi hot spot are also available, depending on the package and trim. The Titanium adds an upgraded 12-speaker stereo as a standard feature. FordPass Connect is now a standard feature and allows you to start and stop your Fusion and lock and unlock it from your phone.

All the Fusion models come with a rearview camera, the MyKey parental control system, and Co-Pilot 360. Co-Pilot360 includes several driver-assist systems including lane keep assist, automatic high-beam headlights, forward collision warning, a pedestrian detection system, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. It also has an automatic braking system. A rear-park assist system comes in the SE and above, and in some trims, you can also get rain-sensing windshield wipers and adaptive cruise control.
